9.5 Point
You may need to change the characteristics of individual input points (detectors and switches) even after using JumpStart. This
Section explains how to change options for: type of input point; latching/non-latching status (switches); and name and
zone/group assignment of a point.
9.5.1 Point Programming For FIK-6815 Module
To program for points on an FIK-6815 module, follow these steps:
1.
Enter the Installer Code. The panel will automatically access the Main Menu.
2.
Select 7 for Panel Programming.
3.
Press 4 to enter the Point Menu.
4.
Press the up or down arrow key to select the desired module. Refer to Section 8.5 Quick Reference Table for available
choices. Then press ENTER.
5.
Select S for sensor or select M for module. (FIK or SK Only)
6.
Enter the number of the point you want to edit, then press ENTER.
7.
Select the type of device by pressing the up or down arrow key. Refer to Table 9.5 under the column heading “Type
Selection” for a list of choices.
