INSTALLATION OF THE DEVICE: SEE ILLUSTRATION 2
The device should be placed in a dry and well-ventilated room where it is free of direct sunlight. The best
position is after the air pump and above the water level.
Always install the device vertically. With regard to maintenance, please take accessibility into account (also see
MAINTENANCE & DISASSEMBLY).
1. Loosen the locknut (A) from the housing (B).
2. Carefully remove the UV-C lamp (C) from its packaging and push it into the lamp holder (D).
3. Slide it further into the device. Observe the recess in the lamp holder (D) for the connection switch (J).
(Make sure that the O-rings (E1 & E2) are positioned properly).
4. Firmly screw the locknut (A) back onto the device.

Mount the pipes clamps (F) in the required location. The device will be hung in here. (Please take the length of
the lamp into account, see MAINTENANCE & DISASSEMBLY).

Mount the electronic ballast (G) in the required location. (Please take the length of the cables into account).
7. Place the device in the pipe clamps (F) and connect the inlet tulle (H) of the device to the air pump (maximum
60 litres/min.).

8. Connect the outlet tulle (I) of the device to an air stone and/or an aerated bottom drain.

TIP: Place a non-return valve (material; VITON /PVDF) in the air line/hose between the pond/basin and
the Filtreau Ozone or install the Filtreau Ozone above the water level.

Make sure that enough air flows through the device and then insert the plug of the device and air pump into
the appropriate socket. Also check the entirety for any leaks.
10. Pulling the plug from the socket will switch off the device.
MAINTENANCE & DISASSEMBLY: SEE ILLUSTRATION 2
The device needs maintenance at least once every six months. The power supply must be disconnected during
maintenance. The Ozone lamp (C) must be replaced after a maximum of 4,500 operating hours. The lifespan also
depends on the number of switch-on/switch-off operations.
1. Disconnect the power supply to the device and the air pump.
2. Loosen locknut (A) and disconnect the Ozone lamp (C) from the lamp holder (D). If necessary, you can now
replace the lamp (C).
3. Insert the new bulb into the lamp holder (D). Also check the O-rings (E1 & E2) for defects.
4. Slide it further into the device. Please note the recess in the lamp holder (D).
(Make sure that the O-rings (E1 & E2) are positioned properly).
5. Firmly screw the locknut (A) back onto the device.
