Before the first time you use your Double Hot Plate

 

 

Please read these operating instructions thoroughly and keep them in 
a safe place for future reference. 
Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly. 
Before using your Double Hot Plate for the first time, turn the Hot 
plate to the highest setting (5) for 3 to 5 minutes to condition the 
protective coating.  

NB

 This should be the only time the Double Hot Plate is operated 

without a cooking utensil on it. 
A pan 15 - 17cm in diameter is recommended for best results. Smaller 
pans are not recommended. Ensure larger pans do not protrude 
beyond the edge of the Hot Plates or the controls. 

 

Operating Instructions 

 

  Place the Double Hot Plate on a solid, level non-flammable surface. 

  Ensure that Thermostat Controls are in the off         position. 

  Insert the mains plug into the mains socket. 

  Rotate the Thermostat Control clockwise from 0 (low heat) through to 

5 (high heat) and leave at the desired setting. The Neon Indicator will 
light to show the hot plate is being heated up. 

  Once the hot plate is at the correct temperature the Neon Indicator 

will go out, the Neon Indicator will go on and off during use to show 
the temperature of the hot plate is being maintained. 

  Return the Thermostat control to the         position and remove the 

mains plug from the socket after use.
