3. Introduction
The
FIRE
CLASS Precept EN13 range of panels
have been designed, manufactured and tested to
meet the requirements of BSEN 54 Parts 2, 4 & 13
and will provide the user with many years of reliable
service.
NOTE: Only the Zone & Alarm Circuits are
compliant with EN54-13. The
FIRE
CLASS Precept
EN13 Panel Application Guide lists the devices
which may be used with this panel.
This document contains all the information
necessary for the installation, commissioning and
maintenance of the
FIRE
CLASS Precept EN13
range of panels and repeaters.

before commencing installation.

4. Installation and
Commissioning Overview
This section lists the steps that are taken in
designing, installing and commissioning a
FIRE
CLASS Precept EN13
system.
1. Install all field wiring and equipment

2. Install the panel
•
Refer to the installation instructions in section
•
Do not connect the field equipment at this
stage.
3. Connect any repeaters (if applicable)
