How It Works
The FireCraft® Pellet-Q450™ Sear Station™ allows you to sear steaks, burgers, or just
about anything with your Pellet-Q450™! Made of highly conductive hard anodized
aluminum, the Sear Station™ absorbs heat from the grill then amplifies it. Because the
heat quickly radiates across the entire grate, the whole Sear Station™ becomes a
high-intensity grilling surface that produces perfect sear marks and vaporizes
drippings on contact.
Requirement for Correct Heat Diffuser Plate
In order to use the Sear Station™, your FireCraft® Pellet-Q450™ MUST have a diffuser
plate with an Open Flame Port. If the serial number of your Pellet-Q450™ is #00123 or
lower, or has a solid diffuser plate with no Open Flame Port, DO NOT attempt to use
the Sear Station or the Open Flame Setting on your AccuTemp™ Electronic Control.
