1.  Set up the heater outside, or in a large open area and well away from any obstructions 

such as tree branches. Do not use the heater near any objects that can be affected by 

heat such as furniture, curtains or other flammable objects (minimum distance 1 metre).

2.  Do not use near water i.e. bath tubs, wash areas, or swimming pools.
3.  Do not use in unventilated areas.
4. 

Do not use where gas, petrol, paint, flammable, or corrosive goods are stored.

5.  Do not push any items through, obstruct, or cover the grill of the heater head.
6.  Do not position immediately above or below an electrical socket.
7.  Do not move when connected to an electrical supply. Always wait for the patio heater to 

cool down before storing away.

8.  Do not touch the heater head when in use, or still hot. The unit stays hot for some time 

after use.

9.  Keep away from children and pets.
10.  The indication of the different positions of switches should be visible from a distance of 1m.

 Floor units must be securely placed on horizontal and flat surface. Wall units must be fit

-

ted horizontally.

 Do not place the unit close to curtain and/or other flammable objects.

13.   Do not cover the unit with anything during operation or while it is hot.
14.   Do not wrap the power supply cord around the unit.
15.   The unit must be securely grounded during operation.
16.   If you have any doubts about the safety, or installation of this heater, please consult a 

qualified electrician.

If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician to avoid 

danger.

18.  The unit is for household use only. It is not safe to use on a building site, greenhouse, barn 

or stable where there’s flammable dust.

19.  The head of the unit reaches high temperatures during operation. Unplug the unit and wait 

till it cools before cleaning.

20.  Do not use this unit to dry clothes, towels, etc.
21.  Do not use this unit as a sauna heater.
22.  Do not immerse this unit into water.
23. 

Two dark points may appear on the surface of the heating elements during the first few 

minutes after it is turned on. This is normal, and will not affect the performance of the unit.

 

Caution

Only use the halogen heater on a firm solid horizontal area where all the feet 

are in contact with the floor. (This heaters has an “auto cut off” safety feature 

which switches the heater off when tilted)
