Opening Safe with Emergency Override Key
Your safe is equipped with an Emergency Override Key which allows
immediate access to the safe without the use of the combination.
1. Locate the combination lock on the front of the safe.
2. Note the gray lock cover immediately below the
combination dial. With your fingernail or the edge of a
flathead screwdriver, gently pry this circular plate upwards
and remove. Do not discard; you will need it to cover the
lock when you are through.
3. Insert the Emergency Override Key into the lock and turn
clockwise to the right.
4. Turn the handle upwards to the right to open the safe.
5. Remove the Emergency Override Key.
6. Replace the gray lock cover by inserting the top and
snapping it into place.
7. Close and lock the safe door, spinning the combination dial
several times.
If you have lost or forgotten your combination, please contact
Consumer Affairs.
