connector is tightly plugged into the motor harness
connector and that there are no loose wires around the
motors.
Wrong type or improperly installed fuse
Make sure that the battery has a properly installed

thermal fuse installed before charging.
For best performance, do not use substitute parts.
Tripped fuse
If the vehicle is overloaded or the driving conditions too
stressful, the thermal fuse may trip and cut power to the
motors. The thermal fuse will automatically reset after
approximately 25 seconds and the vehicle can resume
operation. To prevent additional automatic shut-downs,
reduce the load on the vehicle and/or avoid stressful
driving conditions.
Damaged fuse
The thermal fuse may be damaged. Remove the thermal
fuse from the battery and shake it gently. If it rattles, it is
damaged. Replace the thermal fuse with a new Power Wheels
®
thermal fuse. For best performance, do not substitute parts.

charged for at least 18 hours before using the vehicle for
the first time. After first-time use, recharge the battery for
at least 14 hours after each use. Never charge the
battery longer than 30 hours.
Check all wires and connectors. Make sure the battery
connector is tightly plugged into the charger connector,
and that the charger is plugged into the wall.
