Indicating EF mode turns on
When the NEO is initially activated, by pressing the power button, the wide beam is turned on with
normal mode.
Turning-off
Hold down the power button for about 2 seconds.
EF mode
Hold down the power button for about a second. EF mode starts up
with blinking of the output amount display, and the NEO becomes the
standby state with low brightness of about 100 lumen. To back to the
normal mode, hold down the power button for about a second again.
Output adjustment by power button
The output circulates in order of [25%] > [50%] > [75%] > [100%], each time the power button is
pressed.
Output adjustment by minus/plus adjustment buttons
The output decreases by increments of 1% by pressing the minus adjustment button(-). By holding
down the button, the output is fast forwarded to 0%.
The output increases by increments of 1% by pressing the plus adjustment ). By holding
down the button, the output is fast forwarded to 100%.
EF mode irradiation
- The EF mode utilizes a sensor which receives a signal from the camera's flash via a fiber
optic cable and irradiates short duration flash.
- Please make the setting of the camera the forced emission of light mode of the built-in
flash.
- The EF mode supports rapid shooting. But the speed is up to the interval of the emission
of the built-in flash of the camera.
- The EF mode irradiation does not support automatic exposure.
- For the photography by the correct exposure, please control in irradiation, ISO speed,
diaphragm stop and shutter speed.
- The confirmation of the setting by the prior test photography is ecommended.
NOTE
This product is designed to memorize the output amount when turned off, and turns on at the same
amount the next time. But the setting of the EF mode is not applicable.
