Assembling the pressure regulator and lid handle
Pressure regulator (Fig. A-4)
Removal:
See Figure R
Loosen the fastening screw (Fig. A-24) by turning it counterclockwise and remove the
pressure regulator. The fastening screw can be loosened without tools using a coin.
Assembly:

Insert the pressure regulator (1) into the specified position in the lid from above (in the
center on the bolt), screw on the fastening screw (2) clockwise from below and tighten it
firmly.
Lid handle (Fig. A-9)
Removal:

Loosen the cover handle by turning the fastening screw (Fig. A-22) on the inside of the lid
counterclockwise.
Assembly:
See Figure U
Hold the lid handle in your hand and place the lid in the specified position.
Turn the fastening screw clockwise and tighten it firmly.
Storage
The sealing ring should be stored in a clean, dry and dark (protected from sunlight and UV
radiation) place.
To protect the sealing ring and avoid crushing it, place the lid upside down on the pot after
cleaning.
9. Maintenance & spare parts
WARNING!

Wear parts such as the sealing ring and other rubber parts must be replaced
regularly, i.e. after a maximum of 400 cooking processes or after 2 years at the
latest, with original Fissler spare parts. Parts that show visible damage (e.g.
hardening, cracks, discoloration or deformation) or those that do not fit correctly
must also be replaced immediately.
Non-compliance can negatively affect the functioning and safety of your pressure
cooker.

Detach the pressure regulator from the lid and pull off the old rolling diaphragm.
Place the new rolling diaphragm into the hole in the lid from the inside. Check if it fits
correctly by rotating it.

Valve seat seal

Insert the new seal and ensure that the seal is positioned properly and in a flat position on

O-ring for Euromatic

Disassembly/assembly is carried out on the inside of the lid. Make sure that the seal is
positioned completely in the groove provided for it.
Euromatic
(Fig. A-21)
To disassemble/assemble the Euromatic, you must first remove the lid handle. To do this,
you only need to loosen the screw on the inside of the lid. Once you have removed the
O-ring, you can remove the Euromatic from the lid. To assemble the new Euromatic, guide
it through the lid without the O-ring, so that the side with the white ball is on the inside of
the lid. Then, fit the O-ring as described above.
