The pressure regulator is not
screwed on properly and
tightly.
Insert pressure regulator
correctly and tighten the
fastening screw.

The O-ring, valve seat seal or
rolling diaphragm is missing,
defective or incorrectly fitted.
Replace or correctly mount the
affected seal. (See chapter 9)
Steam is escaping
from under the
lid handle (on the
Euromatic) even
though the cooking
indicator has already
risen.
The lid handle is loose.
Tighten the fastening screw on
the lid handle on the inside of
the lid.
The flat gasket for the lid
handle fastening screw or
the O-ring for the Euromatic
is missing, defective or
incorrectly fitted.
Replace or correctly mount the
affected seal. (See chapter 9)
If a large amount of steam
escapes, the Euromatic may
have responded as a safety
device. This happens when the
pressure regulator is dirty or
defective.
Remove and clean or replace
the pressure regulator.
(See chapter 8)
The lid handle is
loose.
The fastening screw is not
tightened firmly.
Tighten the fastening screw on
the lid handle on the inside of
the lid.
The handles on the
pot are loose.
The handle screws are not
firmly tightened.
Tighten the screws with a
screwdriver.
A lot of steam is
escaping from the
edge of the lid even
though the cooking
indicator has already
risen.
The sealing ring is defective.
Replace the sealing ring.
(See chapter 9)
The sealing ring has
responded as a safety device.
This happens when the
cooking valve and Euromatic
are dirty or defective.
Have the device checked by
Fissler customer service.

The pot is difficult to
close or the control
button does not pop
out when closing.
Lid handle and/or pot handle
are not fitted correctly.
Check the fastening of
the handles and tighten if
necessary.
The lid handle is defective.
Replace the lid handle.
The sealing ring is not inserted
correctly.
Insert the sealing ring
correctly. (See chapter 5)
The pot is not closed properly.
(Indicator in the lid handle is
on red).
Close the pot properly.
(See chapter 4) (Indicator in
the lid handle is on green)
The pot cannot be
opened.
The pot is still under pressure.
Release the pressure in the
pot. (See chapter 7)
The Euromatic has jammed.
Let go of the control button.
Push the lid handle slightly to
the left.
