as they provide important information on the use, safety and maintenance of the
humidifier. Store carefully for future reference. This household device is used to
humidify and perfume a domestic environment. Use the device only for the purposes
indicated in these instructions. Comply with the important safety warnings. Suitably
remove the packaging.

This household device is intended ONLY for domestic use. It is not intended for
commercial or industrial use and it must not be used outdoors. Use the device in com-
pliance with the instructions contained in this manual. Any other uses may generate
fire or electric shock.
• Before using the product for the first time, and periodically during its lifetime, check
the integrity of the device structure and of the power cable to make sure there is
no damage. In the event of damage, do not plug in the cable and immediately take
the product to an authorised FLAEM service centre or to your trusted dealer.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its ser-
vice agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal
cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device,
such as timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the
utility.
• In order to prevent burns, use the humidifier in the presence of an adult who has
