Before using the polisher, please read and 
follow:

these operating instructions,

the “General safety instructions” on the 
handling of power tools in the enclosed 
booklet (leaflet-no. 315.915/04.04),

the currently valid site rules and the 
regulations for the prevention of 
accidents.

This polisher is state-of-the-art and has 
been constructed in accordance with the 
acknowledged safety regulations. 
Nevertheless, when in use, the power tool 
may be a danger to life and limb of the user 
or a third party, or the power tool or other 
property may be damaged. The polisher 
may be used only

used as intended,

in perfect working order.

Faults which impair safety must be repaired 
immediately.

Intended use

This polisher is designed

is designed for industrial applications,

for all types of polishing work with 
polishing sponges, lambskins and 
woolskins, felt plate, buffing disc

for surface grinding with sanding sheet 
on a backing pad

for use with polishing and grinding tools 
which are permitted to be used at 
a speed of at least 3700 r.p.m.

Safety instructions

Danger!

When using the power tool, 
wear protective equipment:

Goggles, dust mask, ear protection, 
protective gloves, sturdy shoes.
If required, also wear an apron!

n

Always guide the polisher with both 
hands. The bail handle (2) must be 
attached!

n

Do not clamp the polisher in a vice.

n

Always lay the power cord (9) to the rear 
away from the polisher.

n

Clamp the workpiece if it is not securely 
positioned by its own weight.

n

Use only tools which have a permitted 
speed at least as high as the nominal 
speed of the polisher.

n

Note the dimensions of the tools. The hole 
diameter must fit onto the clamping 
without play or pretension. Do not use any 
adapters or reducers.

n

Store and handle grinding tools 
according to the manufacturer’s 
instructions.
