Step 1. Getting Your PC Ready
We assume you are using Windows XP. Older operating systems may require the
installation of additional components, which can be found on the FlexRadio web page
at Support & Downloads->Getting Started page.
Step 2. Sound Card Installation
M-Audio Delta 44 Sound card (See Figure 1)

Install the PCI card according to your computer manufacturer s instruction. This
usually is as simple as removing a side panel and inserting the card.

Attach the thick black cable between the PCI card and the silver breakout box.
3.
Insert the HOSA cables into the silver box as shown below. The orange plugs go
into the even numbered ports. INS 3 is the microphone input. Nothing goes into
INS 4.
Do NOT connect the other end of the audio cables to the SDR-1000 at this
time
.

Turn on your computer and load the Delta 44 driver for the new sound card.
