• Inspect ear seals and mic muff frequently for wear. Replace at 6 month intervals. If you see any
defect such as holes or cracks in the ear domes, ear seals, or headband, headset should be
immediately repaired or replaced.
• Do not remove the foam speaker cover.
• To ensure proper function, keep the microphone away from excessive moisture. Do not store
headset in high temperature environments or direct sunlight.
• Wipe headset and ear seals with a mild soap and water mixture only. The foam mic muff may be
removed and cleaned in a mild detergent, or replaced by ordering from Flightcom.
WARNING

TROUBLESHOOTING
MAINTENANCE
Audio Feedback
• Be sure to maintain good ear seal fit against the head on both sides.
• The electronics and acoustical cavity of the ear cup are tuned to the characteristics of the ear
seals and we recommend that you only use Flightcom replacement parts when performing
hygiene maintenance. Installing incorrect ear seals may result in improper fit and potentially
poor ANR performance.
Intercom volume too loud (or soft) in one ear dome
• Adjust volume knob on each ear dome to achieve comfortable volume balance.
Caution:
Inside each ear cup of your headset, you will notice an oval fabric piece. This is intended
to prevent debris from entering the speaker element and to help ensure proper headset performance.
Do not operate the ANR function without these fabric pieces in place.
