LESSON PLAN PAGE
The Lesson Plan pages are accessed using the Lesson Plan Index page. Refer to Lesson Plan Index for
procedures on accessing and choosing a lesson. The Lesson plan page is an illustration of the lesson that
depicts the activity of the lesson. See Figure 3-53. Direct entry, overlay, and page buttons appear along
the lesson graph to allow the instructor to set initial conditions, insert malfunctions, set environmental
conditions, and set simulator conditions at the indicated intervals in the lesson. A timer bar is provided
below the graph on each lesson to indicate at what point each event should take place and how long a
lesson has been in progress. There are three direct entry buttons at the top right of the page that allow
the instructor to start and stop the lesson, clear malfunctions, and end the lesson.
A data entry button is also located at the top right of the page that not only displays the elapsed time of
the lesson but also allows the instructor to enter at what point he wants the lesson to begin. The instructor
will then have to place the simulator in the correct conditions according to the lesson including environment,
altitude, attitude, position, weather, etc.
