The Weather page is accessed by selecting the WEATHER/VISUAL page button on the Master Index
page or by selecting the WEATHER/VISUAL page button on the Environment/Visual page. The Weather
page is used to set up simulated weather conditions. See Figure 3-74. These conditions include fog, surface
wind speed and direction, temperature, atmospheric pressure, visibility, runway visibility, time of day,
special weather effects, and cloud coverage. Also on this page is a boundary box containing direct entry
buttons for selecting predefined weather settings. Selecting a preset will set the weather conditions to
those specific values. Table 3-3 lists the values for some of the predefined weather settings. Only one
preset may be selected at any time. Weather conditions can be controlled using preprogrammed standard
categories and by altering weather variables.
