3.4.
BRINGING SIMULATION DOWN
These are the procedures that an instructor would follow for powering down the hydraulic system and
simulator after a normal training session. It is important that all instructions be followed in order, and
that safety precautions be observed at all times.
3.4.1.
End-Of-Session Simulator Reset
These instructions should be followed when a training session is finished.
1.) If the Flight Freeze push button on the Freezes/Resets Control Panel is illuminated green,
press the FLIGHT FREEZE push button. Or, access the FREEZES RESETS page. If the
FLIGHT FREEZE direct entry button is not highlighted, select the FLIGHT FREEZE button
and it will highlight. It will illuminate amber. Performing either of these tasks will prevent
the controls, which Control Loading is sequencing OFF, from moving.
2.) On the Hydraulic Control Panel at the Instructor Station, press the amber MOTION
SYSTEM push button.
3.) Verify that the Motion System push button flashes green for a few seconds, then
illuminates green. The simulator should lower from the flight-neutral position to the at-rest
position, and the access ramp should lower to the down position. Its movement is indicated
by audible warning.
