requirements that appear in the range limit.

If the numeric entry does not fall within the
range limit, the entry will automatically be
limited to the minimum or maximum range.
3) To enter the change and remove the keypad, select the OK button.

Select the CLEAR button to remove the entire numeric entry.
•
Select the BACKSPACE button to remove the numeric entry one digit at a time.
•
Select the CANCEL button to remove the keypad display from the screen. The
numerical data will not be entered in the simulation.

Alphanumeric Keypad
An Alphanumeric keypad is displayed when alphabetic or numeric data is required to make a change in
simulation, such as choosing an airport or radio transmitter. Figure 2-7 is an example of an alphanumeric
keypad.
1) Select the appropriate alphanumeric characters. Each character appear in the data entry
review field.
2) Verify that the characters appearing in the data entry review field agree with the data entry
requirements.
3) Typically, to enter the change, select the OK button.
