Recording non-radiometric video clips
General
You can record non-radiometric infrared or visual video clips. In this mode, the
camera can be regarded as an ordinary digital video camera.
The video clips can be played back in Windows® Media Player, but it will not be
possible to retrieve radiometric information from the video clips.
Procedure
Follow this procedure to record infrared or visual non-radiometric video clips:
To go to the mode selector, push the
button to the right of the joystick.

In the mode selector, select
Video
and push the joystick.

To select which camera you want to use, move the joystick left/right or
up/down and select one of the following:

IR = infrared camera
■
DC = digital camera
Push the joystick to confirm.

Do one or more of the following and push the joystick to confirm each
choice. Some buttons have more than one function.

To start a recording, and select

To stop a recording, select

To view a recording, select

■
To pause a recording that you are viewing, select

To go to the beginning of a recording, select

To discard a recording, select

To confirm and leave the dialog box, push the
button.

NOTE
You can only view the most recently recorded video clips in this mode. To view
another video clip, go to archive mode. The reason for this is that non-radiometric
video clips are stored directly on the SD Memory Cards.

Some buttons have more than one function and the symbols on the buttons will
change depending on context.
■
You can change the quality of the video format in Setup mode.
