Changing settings for the LCD display
General
When you open the LCD display the following takes place:
1 The display is automatically turned on.
2 The viewfinder is automatically turned off.
You can change this behavior by changing settings for the LCD display. In this dialog
box you can also change settings for LCD display intensity, viewfinder intensity and
video format.
Procedure
Follow this procedure to change settings for the LCD display:
To go to the mode selector, push the
button to the right of the joystick.

In the mode selector, select
Setup
and push the joystick.

In the toolbox, select
Displays
and push the joystick.

Do one of the following and push the joystick to confirm each choice:

To make the display automatically turn on and the viewfinder automati-
cally turn off when you open the display, select
Auto
.
■
To turn on the display and override the previous behavior, select
Display
.
■
To turn on the viewfinder and override the previous behavior, select
Viewfinder
.
■
To change LCD display intensity, select
Display intensity
, push the
joystick and then move the joystick up/down to select a different intensity.
■
To change viewfinder intensity, select
Viewfinder intensity
, push the
joystick and then move the joystick up/down to select a different intensity.
■
To change video format, select
External video monitor
, push the joystick
and then move the joystick up/down to select a different video format.

To confirm and leave the dialog box, push the
button.
