Cargo Max Assembly

– Step 3

TILT CLAMP & LIMITER STAP Assembly,

TONGUE Assembly

Tilt Clamp & Limiter Strap Assembly Instructions Attaching the Tongue to the Frame

Slide the Tilt Clamp (1) and Limiter Strap (2)

onto the Tongue (3) as shown in Fig. 3A.

Install so curled cable unwraps as shown when tilted.

Connect tongue harness to trailer harness and pull into tongue until there is 40” hanging out of grommet at the front of the

tongue.

Note: Pull trailer harness out of cross member through grommet as needed.

Attach the tongue to the trailer frame using (1)

1/2 x 5” bolt, (1) ½” flat washer, (1) 1” round x

¾” tongue spacer, and (1) ½” heavy nylock nut
as shown in Fig. 3B.

Torque to 60 Ft/Lbs.
