tors, the gas connections, nozzles, valves etc. In the event of
damage, repairs or other problems with the gas grill, please
consult the service centre or a technician from your local gas
dealer.
Danger Risk of fire/explosion/poisoning!
Defective gas containers or improper handling of gas
containers may lead to fires or explosions which may
cause life-threatening injuries or death. Leaked gas may lead to
poisoning.
– An indented or rusty gas container may be dangerous and
must be replaced. Do not use a gas canister with a defective
bottle valve.
– Read and follow the operating instructions and safety notes
for the gas container.
– Never connect the gas supply to the gas grill without a pres-
sure regulator that corresponds to the country-specific pres-
sure. Only use an approved pressure regulator with fixed set-
tings and with 50 mbar outlet pressure and consumption of
max. 1.5 kg/h.
– Do not place the gas container next to heat sources and also
prevent exposure to direct sunlight.
– Make sure that no ignition sources such as fire, smouldering
cigarettes, open flames etc. are nearby when changing the
gas container.
– After grilling, always be sure to turn the gas container to the
closed position and to turn the grill off.
– Always store the gas container in an
upright position, never
in a horizontal position
in a well ventilated area and not
below ground level (e.g. in the basement).
– Make sure that the gas hose is not kinked, thereby restricting
the supply of gas. The gas hose may not be subjected to ten-
sion and may not come into contact with hot parts of the grill
or other objects.
– Make sure that the pan’s bottom vents are free.
– Never change the setting of the pressure regulator.
– Never open components that have been sealed by the manu-
facturer.
Danger Risk of fire!
The grill becomes very hot during use and may start
fires.
– Set up the grill so that it is at least 1 m away from flammable
materials such as awnings, wood terraces and balconies.
– Only set up the grill on a solid, level area with no wind expo-
sure and only use it in wind-protected areas.
– Keep the gas supply hoses away from hot surfaces.
– Never cover more than 50 % of the grilling surface with grill
trays or the like as they reflect the heat back into the grill and
may cause the grill to overheat as a result.
– Do not move the grill when in use.
– Do not fill the tray with flammable (e.g. charcoal) materials
and materials that are not yet flammable.
– Do not in any case cover the gas burner with any objects.
Never fill the tray with liquids (e.g. water).
– Some food produces flammable fats and juices. Clean the
grill regularly, ideally every time after using it.
Danger Burn Hazard!
This device is not intended to be used by persons
(including children) with impaired physical, sensory or
mental abilities or who lack experience and/or knowledge.
– Advise this group of persons of the dangers associated with
the device and have them supervised by a person responsi-
ble for their safety.
– Keep children and pets away from the device.
The grill becomes very hot during use such that any contact with
it may cause serious burns.
– Always wear barbecuing or kitchen gloves when opening the
cover or grilling.
– Do not touch any hot parts of the grill. Only open and close
the grill lid by the handle.
– Do not wear any clothing with baggy arms.
– Always open the grill lid before lighting the burner. Otherwise,
this may result in darting flames when opening.
– Allow the grill to cool off completely before cleaning and/or
stowing it.
Danger of poisoning!
Carbon monoxide is produced when the gas grill is
used. This gas is odourless and can be lethal in en-
closed areas!
– Only use the grill outdoors.
Dangers for children!
Children can become trapped in the packing film
when playing and suffocate.
– Do not allow children to play with the packing film.
– Make sure that children do not put small assembly parts in
their mouth; they could swallow them and choke.
Danger Risk of injury
Some areas of the grill and individual parts have
sharp edges.
– Handle the individual parts of the grill will care to prevent ac-
cidents or injury when assembling and using the grill. If nec-
essary, wear protective gloves.
– Do not set up the grill close to entrances or highly frequented
areas.
– Always be very careful when grilling. If you are distracted, you
may lose control of the device.
– Always be attentive and pay attention to what you are do-
ing. Do not use the product if you are not concentrated or
tired and/or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medica-
tion. Even a single moment of inattentiveness when using the
product may result in serious injury.
