Section 01170- Special Provisions

Item 1.03.A [Comment]: Lubricants are not included in Scope of Supply.

Item 1.04 [Comment]: Special tools not required. None included.
Section 11216- Horizontal Split Case Centrifugal Pumps
•
Item 1.04.C.2 [Comment]: Motors are suitable for long life operation.
However, separate certificate is not provided.

Item 1.04.C.5 [Comment]: Certification of piping layout by Others.
•
Item 2.03.C.1 [Comment]: Wear rings will be 316SS in accordance with
the Flowserve NSF61 certified materials of construction for the LR
product line.
•
Item 2.03.D.2 [Comment]: Mechanical seals will be Chesterton 442 Split
seals can be provided within the NSF61 certification for the LR product
line. The seals will have sil car vs carbon faces, 316SS metal parts and
EPR elastomers.
•
Item 2.04.C [Comment]: Offered motor as per NEMA MG 1 and testing as
per applicable NEMA/IEEE standards.

Item 2.08.A [Comment]: Section 09901 not provided for review. Pump
interior surfaces will be coated with Tnemec Pot-a-Pox, which is NSF61
approved. Exterior surfaces will be coated with Tnemec Omnithane
Series 1. Motors will be supplied with red iron oxide applied as primer
and epoxy modified polyester paint, color buff, applied as final finish.

Part 3 [Comment]: Execution, preparation, installation, field tests, and
field services are not included. Items to be provided by Others.
Section 16150- Motors
•
Item 2.07.A.2 [Comment]: Motors with random wound, non-nutritive and
humidity resistant, trickle treated Class H insulation. Trickle treated
system is better than dip and bake system.

Item 2.07.B.14.d [Comment]: Motors have dye cast aluminum motor.
Crimped connections are used, exception to offering brazing.
