10.5.1.5 Disassembly of Cooling Unit
For maintenance on the pump chamber, the
disassembly of the cooling unit is not necessary.
For the inspection or exchange of the coil or
cooling medium proceed in the following order:
1. Unscrew the 20 hexagon screws M6x16 (90.15)
from the cover plate (64.92).
2. The cover complete with the cooling spiral can
now be carefully removed. The unit weighs
approx.15lb [6.5 kg] and can be lifted by hand.

Note: Between the cover (64.92) and pump casing there are two paper gaskets (40.00) and (40.01).
These gaskets should be replaced during re-assembly.
3. Empty the cooling medium from pump casing into a
container.
4. Remove the cooling coil (66.20) from the cover
(64.92) after loosening the hexagon nut (a), size
30mm, while holding the connection fittings (d), size
27mm to prevent from rotating.
5. The ventilating screw (0002) can be unscrewed
from the cover (64.92).
Note: The connection fittings consists of an ‘O’-ring (b) and the tapered washer (c) each.
