be as short as possible and ideally should be no longer than
1 metre, in order to ensure a perfect connection between the
amplifier and the car chassis. The cable and its gauge should
comply with the table in 3.1. Find a suitable grounding point, then
sand it down to remove any traces of paint or other varnish in
order to ensure the best possible contact point. Drill a hole in the
metal that you have already sanded down, making that the hole
is the same size as the screw you are using; check that there are
no tank cables or other sensitive vehicle devices nearby. Screw the cable down, equipped with a Y crimp (fig.3), firmly
onto the amplifier grounding terminal of the DS A500 RT. Begin stripping the other end of that cable and then crimp
or weld it onto the terminal lug provided. Insert the terminal lug in the screw, and then put the screw and nut in place
and screw them in firmly (fig.4).
