Input form of AT commands
Terminal mode screen of communication software is used for direct input of AT commands.
In this manual, Windows' HyperTerminal is used. "AT" is always followed by a command.
Be sure to enter one-byte alphanumeric characters. Entering example is as follows.
One line of AT commands
In the terminal mode screen of the communication software, "one line" is from the first
character to the last character before pressing the
key. Even if the characters have
reached the right end of the screen and the line has automatically been fed to the next line, the
whole part is recognized as one line. AT commands must be entered in one line including
parameters (numbers and symbols) following the command. Up to 300 characters (including
"AT" and
) can be entered as an AT command.
INFORMATION
•
The terminal mode is a mode in which a PC functions as a communication terminal. The
entered characters are sent to devices and lines connected to the communication ports.
Input mode of AT commands
To operate FOMA terminal with AT commands, the PC must be in the terminal mode, too. If
your communication software has the terminal window, enter the AT command in the window.
In the terminal mode, the characters entered from the keyboard are sent to the communication
port. Whether the AT command sent to the communication port can function or not depends on
the status of FOMA terminal.
z
Offline mode

during this status.
z

status may result in malfunction of modem at the access point due to the command
characters directly sent to the access point. Do not enter any AT command during
