INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Rechargeable batteries can be used with the amplifier.
1300 to 2800 mAh capacity Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended.
The rechargeable batteries can be recharged in the battery compartment by connecting the AC/DC adapter
to the amplifier.
While the batteries are charging, the red LED RECHARGE indicator will stay on and will automatically turn
off when the charge has finished. After approximately 10 hours.
To avoid deterioration, the rechargeable batteries must be recharged immediately after use. Recharge the
rechargeable batteries before using them if they have not been used for a long period of time.
WARNING:
Only use the AC/DC adapter to make the amplifier work and to charge rechargeable batteries.
Do not charge alkaline batteries. It could seriously damage the machine. Do not mix rechargeable batteries
with alkaline batteries.
1.- Install 6 R6-AA batteries, preferably alkaline or rechargeable, in the battery holder compartment. Respect
the polarity shown at all times. The amplifier can also be used with the AC/DC adapter.
2.- Put the microphone on with the side pieces in front of the ears and the microphone in front of the mouth.
3.- Connect the microphone to the MIC input on the portable amplifier.
The microphone connector has a safety screw which must be screwed to the amplifier connector to
avoid accidental disconnections.
Move the metal part lightly outwards
Screw the pin to the personal amplifier
4.- Put the amplifier on, adjusting it to the waist and moving to the desired position. This should be as far
from the microphone as possible to avoid feedback.
5.- Switch the amplifier on and adjust the volume control to the required level.
6.- When you have finished using the amplifier, switch it off. If it is not going to be used for a long period of
time, remove the batteries to avoid damaging the machine.
