Warning!
Make sure the ma-
chine is switched off and un-
plugged.
- Always keep the machine clean,
dry and free of oil or grease.
- Wear safety glasses and gloves to
protect your eyes and hands whilst
cleaning.
- For safe and proper working, al-
ways keep the machine and venti-
lation slots clean.
- Regularly check for obvious defects
and/or damaged components.
- Periodically check all fixings. These
could become loose with time due
to vibration.
- The most used part is the blade. In-
spect the blades regularly:
- If the blade is worn or blunt, it must
be replaced immediately.
- If the machine starts to vibrate ex-
cessively, the blades seem to be
unbalanced and must be replaced.
- Replace any worn or damaged
parts.
- If the body of the machine needs
cleaning, wipe it with a brush or a
soft damp cloth. A mild detergent
can be used but nothing like alco-
hol, petrol or other cleaning agent.
- Never use caustic agents to clean
plastic parts.
- Lubricate all moving parts at regu-
lar intervals.
- Store the machine in a dry place
and out of the reach of children.
Danger!
If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer or its
service agent or similarly qualified
person in order to avoid hazard.
Circuit breaker
The machine features a circuit break-
er that is activated under the follow-
ing circumstances:
- Too much shredding material
around the blades.
- Too much shredding material for
the motor capacity.
- Too much resistance against the
blades.
If the circuit breaker has activated,
take the following steps:
1.
Press the OFF button

and pull
the plug.
2.
Let the motor cool down for a view
minutes.
3.
Set the direction switch

to re-
verse operation.
4.
Reconnect the machine to the
power supply, press the circuit
breaker

button and press the
ON switch

5.
Press the OFF button

and pull
the plug.
6.
Carefully remove the blockage
from the intake opening

Reconnect the machine to the
power supply and set the direction
switch

to forward operation.
8.
To continue shredding, press the
ON switch
