Make sure the monitor is off before replacing the batteries.
STEP 1- Press the edge of the battery cover
and pull up (Fig. 3). Lift the battery cover and
remove the batteries inside.
STEP 2- Insert four 1.5V AA size alkaline
batteries. Make sure the + (positive)
and–(negative) marks match as indicated in
the battery compartment (Fig. 4). If inserted
correctly, you will hear a "beep".
CAUTION
1. Do not use different type, date or brand name batteries together. Use only
new batteries of the required size and type.
2. Replacing the batteries does not affect previous test results stored in the
monitor. But you may need to update the settings.
3. Batteries might leak chemicals if not used for a long time. Remove the
batteries if you are not going to use the device for an extended period (i.e. 3
months or more).
4. As with all small batteries, the batteries should be kept away from small
children who still put things in their mouths. If they are swallowed, promptly
see a doctor for help.
5. Discard batteries according to your local regulations.
