OPERATION
• Clutch movement and shifts are performed
automatically.
• Gears may be corrected manually.
• False shifting is not possible.
Driving:
• Park brakes are active. Rotating knob is in
position N.
• Start the engine.
• System checks itself,
information is
displayed on the display.
• Bring the rotating knob to position “D”.
• Take-off gear is automatically determined
(take-off gear may be changed when
required.)
• Accelerate while releasing the brake
Forward movement: Forward movement:
1- Bring the rotating knob to position D.
2- Release parking brake.
3- Take your foot off the brake pedal and press
on the accelerator pedal.
WARNING
Risk of Accident
Do not engage neutral gear when the vehicle
is moving.
Shifting to neutral:
Stop the vehicle completely and bring the
rotating knob to position N.
Reverse movement:
Stop the vehicle completely and bring the
rotating knob to position R.
CAUTION
Do not shift to reverse before stopping the
vehicle completely. Transmission electronic
control shall not allow shifting to reverse as it
will sense that the vehicle has not stopped.
Coasting:
It is required that the vehicle moves very
slowly during coasting. This can be achieved
by half clutch in manual transmissions.
And DM and RM functions are used for this
function in automated transmissions.
DM is used for coasting forward, and RM is
used for coasting backward.
