Precautions for use
The plancha must be placed at least 1 metre away from any inflammable
object on either side of the appliance and at least 2 metres away from the
back of the appliance. It must also always be kept at least 2 metres away
from a water supply or source of humidity.
• The plancha must be placed on a stable, horizontal and
nonflammable surface that can withstand high temperatures, or on a
cart/support made by forge adour.
• Do not connect the plancha using an extension cord or multi-
socket lead to avoid the risk of fire
• Do not use an external programming system (e.g. timer, etc.)
• Never move the appliance while in operation.
• Position the temperature control switch on “stop” and disconnect
the power cord after each use, or to perform cleaning.
• Accessible parts may be hot: keep children away
• Wait until the plancha is cold before cleaning the chassis or the
grease tray.
• Do not clean with a high-pressure device.
• The plancha should only be used for cooking food.
• If your plancha is protected by a soft cover or a lid, make sure
to remove them before using the plancha.
• Never open the plancha. Contact your retailer in the case of a
malfunction.
• The plancha is designed for outdoor use.
The power cord must be checked regularly to detect any sign of
deterioration. If there is any damage, do not use the plancha. The power
cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, the customer service or by
persons with similar qualifications to avoid all danger. The plancha must
be powered by a circuit with a residual current device (rcd) with a rated
residual operating current that does not exceed 30 mA.
This plancha is designed for domestic and equivalent uses such as:
Corner kitchens reserved for shop or office personnel or other professional
environments, farms: use by hotel and motel guests and other residential
type environments; guesthouse environments.
Planchas are not designed for use with an external timer or separate
remote control system.
