CONVEYOR PHOTO-EYE ADJUSTMENT

1.  Turn power off.
2.  Acess the photo beam board.
3.  Turn “BEAM PWR” potentiometer (R9) fully clockwise.
4.  Turn “DET GAIN” potentiometer (R30) fully counter-clockwise.
5.  Suspend a white folded document 8/10th on an inch above the photo-eye.
6.  Turn power switch on.
7.  Turn R30 clockwise until lights on the board change from low(red light) to good (green light).  DO NOT 

     ADJUST ANY HIGHER.

CONVEYOR TIME DELAY ADJUSTMENT

1.  Turn power switch off
2.  Turn “delay” potentionmeter (R41) fully counter-clockwise.
3.  Place folded document on the conveyor covering the photo-eye.
4.  Turn power switch on.
5.  Form will advance, when it stops, measure the distance it traveled.  The distance should be 5 1/2” 

    (see illustration below).
6.  If the distance is less than required, turn “delay” potentionmeter (R41) 1/8th of a turn clockwise and repeat  

     steps 1,3,4, and 5.  Continue this until the travel distance is 5 1/2”.
