Use and maintenance
ATOMIZER ON VISION MULTIFUNCTION MACHINE
7.2.
1 INTENDED USE
The machine (and machine means: the atomizer group in-
stalled on the Vision multifunction machine) is an agricul-
tural sprayer machine designed exclusively for treating
crops by spraying plant protection products (anti-crypto-
grams or anti-parasites). Different uses are not allowed
and the company is not liable for any damage caused by
the use of chemicals that are aggressive, dense or prone
to sticking.
WARNING: THE FAN CONTROL ENGINE UNIT
IS EQUIPPED WITH A SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION
BOOKLET. BEFORE WORKING, READ THE MA-
NUALS ON THE VISION MACHINE AND READ
ALSO THE FAN ENGINE MANUAL.
7.7.2 NOISE LEVEL
The sound level (airborne noise) was detected with the engine
running at full speed and idling, with the Operator in the driving
position, following the EN ISO 3744/1997 standard, and the
following levels were found:
- Sound pressure level at the operator position
.
94,00 dB (A)
- Sound power level
.........................................
109,00 dB (A)
- Guaranteed sound power level
.....................
112,00 dB (A)
WARNING! THE HIGH LEVEL OF AIR NOISE, PRO-
DUCED BY THE ATOMIZER WHEN IT IS RUNNING,
REQUIRES THE USE OF PROTECTIVE SYSTEMS
OF THE HEARING SYSTEM SUCH AS EARMUFFS,
CAPS, ETC.

7.4 HANDLING AND INSTALLATION
The motorized atomizer group is shipped palletized, already
assembled and with the engine already supplied with oil, rea
-
dy to be hooked to the machine.
Therefore, for its handling, just use a forklift or a pallet truck.
To install the motorized atomizer group on the VISION
multifunction machine, it is necessary to:
- Position the atomizer group near the support arms of the
two lower points (6 Fig. 23).
- Move the machine closer to the connections of the two lower
points and the third upper point of the atomizer group.
- Match the two lower arms (6 Fig. 23) with the lower support
of the atomizer and, once centered in the hole, insert the pin
(7 Fig. 23) blocking it with the relative snap cotter pin.
- Perform the same work with the third upper point by un
-
screwing or tightening the adjustment tie rod (4 Fig. 23) and,
once centered in the hole, insert the pin (5 Fig 23) blocking
it with the relative snap cotter pin.
- Connect the various pipes following the instructions given in
the paragraph «6.2.4 Pipes».
Once the installation is correct, perform a group lift test.
WARNING: Keep in mind that the fan must be
perpendicular to the ground. Any adjustment
(inclination of the fan) should be carried out by
screwing or unscrewing the adjustment tie rod
(4 Fig. 23).
After the atomizer group has been correctly installed, the ma
-
chine is ready for use.
Then lift the fan group (at least 20 cm) and move into the in
-
tended operating area.
AS REGARDS THE START-UP AND OPERATION OF THE
MACHINE, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN IN THE
INSTRUCTION MANUAL OF THE VISION MULTIFUNCTION
MACHINE.
WITH REGARD TO THE SPRAYING, FOLLOW WHAT
SHOWN IN THIS MANUAL UNDER “SECTION 5”.
Once in the operating area, start the fan drive motor starter.
Before starting the engine, turn the fan engagement control
lever (3 Fig. 21).
To start the engine, just pull the engine start handle firmly (8
Fig. 23) and immediately release it with the engine running.
At the end of the operations, switch off the fan control, switch
off the fan control motor and turn the fan insertion lever (3 Fig.
21) and, keeping the atomizer group raised at least 20 cm
from the ground, return to the starting position.
For storage works, please refer to the information in para-
graph «4.5 AFTER USE» of this manual.
