• If you have set a preparation time, cooking temperature and motor speed be-
fore starting, these values can be changed at any time during preparation. Please
note that the motor speed cannot be set to 0!
• If a motor speed was set before starting, the motor speed and preparation time
can be changed during preparation.
6. After expiry of the preparation time the appliance beeps ten times. If a cooking tempera-
ture was set before starting, the appliance stops heating. The orange indicator lamp (
HEI-
ZEN
= Heating) extinguishes. However, the motor continues to operate at the set speed
for 10 minutes without interruption. In this case the appliance can be stopped at any time
with the
Start/Stop
button. If you do not stop the appliance prematurely, it will beep again
after 5 minutes. If a cooking temperature was set before starting, the appliance automatically
stops after expiration of the preparation time. If no cooking temperature was set before
starting, the appliance automatically stops after 20 minutes and beeps ten times.
7. To switch off the appliance, place the ON/OFF switch to
O
and pull the plug out of the plug
socket.
Using the "Knead" programme
1. Connect the appliance to a properly installed, well accessible plug socket and place the ON/
OFF switch in position

2. Press the
Kneten
button (knead). The cooking temperature is automatically set to 0 °C and
the motor speed to 3. The displays shows the symbol

• Motor speed and cooking temperature cannot be changed in the "Knead" pro-
gramme. Only the preparation time can be set.
3. Preparation time: Press the
Zeit
button (time) once. The minutes display
fl
ashes. You can
now set the minutes with the
+
and
-
buttons. By pressing the button once, the minute dis-
play is increased or decreased by 1 minute. Press the
Zeit
button (time) a second time. The
seconds display
fl
ashes. You can now set the seconds with the
+
and
-
buttons. By pressing
the button once, the second display is increased or decreased by 1 second. The maximum
preparation time that can be set is 90 minutes.
• You can start the "Knead" programme without setting the preparation time. In
this case the appliance operates for 20 minutes and then stops automatically.
4. Start the appliance with the
START/STOP
button. The appliance starts working for 3 sec-
onds and stopping for 4 seconds. The preparation time that was set, starts counting down. If
no preparation time was set, the preparation time counts up.
• When the appliance operates in the "Knead" programme, you can change the
preparation time at any time. By pressing the
Kneten
button (knead) again, the
"Knead" programme is aborted and the symbol
disappears.
• If the appliance was started with manually set values for preparation time, cook-
ing temperature and motor speed, then the "Knead" programme can no longer
be activated. The
Kneten
button (knead) is then deactivated.
