DO NOT sit on the backrest portion of any cock-
pit seat. The helmsman could lose control of
boat or passengers could be thrown from boat.
Also, the seat may be damaged from improper
use.
F. Stern (Jump) Seats
In a standard interior, the motor hood and two stern or
jump seats are installed at the stern. The seats are sup-
ported by the motor hood base and ski rack (lower up-
holstered pads) in the bottom position.
To install the jump seats in the upper position:
1. Remove the jumpseat by sliding seat towards you.
Once the jumpseat support has cleared the bulk-
head mount you may then lift up on the seat.
2. Rotate the seat 1/4 turn outboard and insert the
jumpseat support into the jumpseat support mount
located in the coaming pad (outer bulkhead/wall).
3. Rest the cushion on the motor box support. Doing
both cushions in this manner will create a sundeck
across the back.
To prevent personal injury, be sure the jump
seats are secured and supported properly.
NOTICE
Do not operate the boat with jumpseats in their
upper positions. Loss of cushions may occur
due to cushions being blown overboard.
NOTICE
When traveling at highway speeds, be sure the
jumpseats are secure (locked in their down po-
sitions).
Do not
tow your boat with the
jumpseats in their sundeck position. Air cur-
rents (created within the interior when traveling)
will lift the cushions up and out of the boat un-
der certain conditions; especially when semi-
trucks or other large vehicles pass by.
To rotate the port (passenger) bucket seat to face aft:
1. Slide the seat completely back by using the lever
located at the right front underneath the seat. See
Figure K2.
3. You must exit the seat and locate the lever on the
left side of the slider mechanism and pull to release
the pin from the pedestal. This will allow you to
rotate the seat. See Figure K2.
4. Rotate the bucket seat counterclockwise (out-
board) until it faces completely aft and locks into
position. In addition, DO NOT USE FORCE to ro-
tate the chair.
NOTICE
When rotating the port bucket seat to face aft,
the bucket seat can only be rotated in one di-
rection (counterclockwise for the port bucket
seat). Damage to seat and/or coaming may
result if attempting to rotate in the wrong direc-
tion.
To return the port (passenger) bucket seat to the bow
facing position:
1. Again you must exit the seat and locate the lever
on the left side of the slider mechanism and pull to
release the pin from the pedestal. This will allow
you to rotate the seat. See Figure K2.
2. Rotate the bucket seat clockwise (inboard) until it
locks into the forward facing position. In addition,
DO NOT USE FORCE to rotate the chair.
3. Position the seat forward according to the needs
of the passenger by using the lever located at the
right front underneath the seat. See Figure K2.
NOTICE
When rotating the passenger bucket seat to
face forward, the bucket seat can only be ro-
tated in one direction (clockwise for the port
bucket seat). Damage to seat and/or coaming
may result if attempting to rotate in the wrong
direction.
