Caution:
only use pans with a perfectly flat bottom that
are suitable for induction cooking. Using pans with an
uneven bottom may detract from the efficiency of the
heat radiation system, and may prevent detection of the
pan on the cooking area.
Noises during cooking
Pans may produce noises during cooking. This does not
indicate a malfunction, nor does it have any influence on
how the device works.
The noise depends on the type of pan being used.
If the noise is particularly annoying, it might help to
change the pan.

X
When purchasing a pan, check whether the
diameter indicated corresponds to the bottom or
the top of the pan, as the latter is usually wider
than the bottom.
X
When preparing dishes that require long cooking
times, both time and energy can be saved by using
a pressure cooker. Cooking in this way also allows
more vitamins to be preserved in the food.
X
Make sure that the pressure cooker contains
enough liquid; if there is not enough liquid and
it overheats, this may cause damage both to the
pressure cooker and to the cooking area.
X
If possible, always cover pans with a suitable lid.
X
Select a pan that is suitable for the amount of food
to be cooked. Cooking with wide pans that are
only partially used is a waste of energy.
