The device may only be used as
defroster and must be installed in
the fresh air pipe of the ventilation
device.
n
Please observe the correct flow
direction according to the arrows
when installing the device.
n
The device must be connected to a
circuit protected by a fault current
protection switch.
n
The device may only be commissi-
oned when installed, i. e. with con-
nected air pipes.
n
The defroster heating may only be
operated with an upstream filter.
n
Only insert original filters by the
device manufacturer into the filter
compartment.
n
The defroster heating must be sepa-
rated from the network connection
for maintenance purposes (e. g. filter
change or cleaning of the PTC hea-
ting element).
n
Be careful when changing the filter –
the heating element may still be hot
– risk of burning!
The preheater must be installed in the
fresh air pipe. The installation situation
can be selected freely, however, the flow
direction must be observed so that the
G3 filter is located upstream of the PTC
heating element. The flow direction can
be found on the EPP box. Please obser-
ve sufficient and safe fastening.
Attention! Fastening material must be
provided on site.
