6 Safety instructions
Failure to comply with the safety instructions can lead to injury or property damage (e.g. burning).
7 Installation instructions
7.1 Installation position
The installation of the defroster heating
must be executed according to the regu-
lations of the following sections. In addi-
tion to the installation position and flow

The device may be used as a
defroster only and must be installed
in the fresh air pipe of the ventilation
unit.

direction marked by the arrows
when installing the device.

The device may only be put into
operation when installed, i.e. with
connected air pipes.

The defroster heating must be dis-
connected from the network for
maintenance works (e.g. cleaning of
the heating spiral).

Exercise caution
when cleaning the
heating spiral – it may still be hot –
risk of burning!

The installation positions specified
in the installation instructions must
be strictly adhered to.
n
In case of vertical installation, a
non-flammable pipe DN 125 with a
minimum length of 300 mm must
be installed downstream of the
defroster heating.
