Using the Index
Use Topics to find disease monographs
quickly. For example to find Noncardiac
pulmonary edema in the Topics menu,
start typing edema.
Use
or
to highlight Noncardiac…,
and press
ENTER
.
You do not need to type spaces. To delete
a letter use
BACK
. You can also use
or
to highlight an index entry.
You can search for diseases by their com-
mon names. While you would type tuber-
culosis in the Outline menu, you can type
tb in the Topics menu and press
ENTER
to
find the same monograph.
Use Medications to go to the text of the
disease or a list of diseases that a generic
drug is used for. For example, type war-
farin and press
ENTER
. Use
or
to
highlight the entry you want, and press
ENTER
.
