Finding Therapeutic Classes

    Using the 

Class Menu

Every drug in the Pocket PDR

 is classified by its ther-

apeutic action. Here is how to find drugs by their thera-
peutic class.

1. Press 

MENU

.

2. Highlight the 

Class menu.

3. Type a therapeutic class

(e.g., 

Fungal Medications, Systemic).

4. When the class is highlighted, press 

ENTER

.

5. Highlight a drug (e.g., 

Diflucan).

Type its first few letters or scroll to it.

6. Press 

ENTER

 to view its monograph.

7. To go back to the 

Class menu, 

BACK

.

8. Press 

CLEAR

 when done.
