HAS EXPIRED” is displayed on the screen. You can
finish this section or stop the practice test. Press the

press ENTER.

For instructions on how to score your essay, please refer
to “How Are the Essays Scored?” in the Essay chapter of
Cracking the New SAT - How to Crack the Writing
Section.
You can only adjust the score of your essay in the SAT
Score Report screen. Please see “SAT Score Report” in
“Reading SAT Test Reports” on page 36 for more
information. Your default score is 6.
