5.3
Connecting ventilation ducts
NOTE
Insulated ventilation ducts should be connected to the HRU in dimensions corresponding to the
dimensions of connectors. The insulation thickness should be in accordance with the current legal
regulations; it is recommended to use the insulation thickness according to the guidelines of the Polish
Ventilation Association.
Connectors are marked with the following pictograms.
Fresh air connector (air intake)
Connector for the air supplied to rooms
Exhaust air connector (exhaust vent)
Connector for the air extracted from rooms
5.4
Air filters
The HRU is supplied with a set of filters in the foil packaging. Before the start-up, remove the foil packaging and install
the filters according to the air flow direction markings.
NOTE
It is not allowed to start the unit without filter cartridges in place.
5.5
Fan
The HRU is equipped with preinstalled internal wiring and a main switch. All works related to the operation of the fan
motor must be carried out with the supply voltage disconnected. The motor must be connected by a qualified electrician
in accordance with the applicable OHS regulations.
