S-Video:
The top connector is a 4-pin mini-DIN connector. Use it to connect a television.
The S-Video cable is customer supplied.
RCA composite video:
The center connector is a yellow RCA composite video
connector. Use it to connect a television. The composite video cable is customer supplied.
VGA:
The bottom connector is a 15-pin VGA connector. The ONYX monitor connects
directly to this connector.
Monitor and Television Configurations
The standard ONYX Deskset XL configuration is to have the ONYX monitor connected directly
to the VGA connector on the side of the monitor stand.
A television can be connected to the ONYX using either the S-Video or composite video output
connectors. The ONYX monitor and television can be connected simultaneously. When
configured this way, the television only supports Normal and gray scale color modes.
If you disconnect the ONYX monitor from the VGA connector so that only the television is
connected, the following color modes are available: Normal, Reverse Color, Black on White,
and White on Black.
