S T A T I C R O U T E S
An implicit or explicit route must be defined in the routing table for traffic
to move between interfaces on the appliance. The destination network,
interface, and gateway define this route. Networks that are directly
attached to an interface on the appliance have an implicit route
automatically created in the routing table. Networks without an implicit
route require a static route that identifies the next hop gateway and
interface to forward traffic going to the destination network.
