Dial Tone
A
dial tone
is a telephony signal used to indicate that the
telephone exchange is working and ready to accept a call.
The tone stops when the first numeral is dialed. Specify
the frequency and cadence for dial tone.
Busy Tone
A
busy Tone (or engaged tone)
in telephony is an
audible or visual signal to the calling party that indicates
failure to complete the requested connection of that
particular telephone call. Specify the frequency and
cadence for Busy tone.
You have three ways to set up Busy Tone parameters with
FXO interface
:
1.
Fill out Busy Tone Frequency and ON/OFF time
in
the textbox manually if you already know it.
2.
Select the country
where you are located from the
dropdown list
to get your local standard busy tone
frequency.
3. Click
Busy Tone Recognition
button to learn the busy
tone from your local telephone service and to get the
local standard busy tone frequency.
Busy Tone recognition is highly recommended.
