SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
7. Rest the ladder on the ground and enter the tent. Install the
2 x spreader bars for the fl y at this stage. It is recommended
to connect the guy ropes provided to prevent the spreader bar
from moving around in the wind.
8. Retrieve the long sprung steel rods (SSR), which are positioned
to tension the fl ysheet. Insert the bottom end of the SSR into the
pre-drilled hole in the angle aluminium section, passing through
the eyelet of the fl ysheet. This will require you to bend the SSR
so that the angle of the SSR is equal to the angle of the hole into
which it should be inserted.
9. Follow the same process with the short rods which hold the
window covers in position. The holes for the window rods are
situated on the aluminium angle below the window. Enter the
tent and unzip the side window to allow access to position the
small SSR correctly.
Special notes:
Take care when tensioning the SSR and ensure
that your face is never in line with the rods.
10. Always use guy ropes and pegs to secure the fl ysheet.
11. Stow the PVC cover carefully after the tent is set up.
