6.5 Troubleshooting
Fault
Possible cause

Unreadable LED
display.
Programming is incorrect.
Contact the manufacturer.
Please refer to the company
information in the imprint for the
address and telephone numbers.
LED display
flickers when
switched on.
PCB is defective.
LED display does
not illuminate.
No mains voltage.
Check the mains supply line for
interruptions.
Fuse has triggered.
Replace the fuse.
Thermal contact in
transformer has triggered
(overheating protection).
Switch off the stunning device.
Wait until the transformer has
cooled off.
Blood spots in the
meat and/or bone
fractures.
Electrodes in the stun
tong/H2B are burned.
Replace the electrodes regularly.*
Electrodes in the stun
tong/H2B are fouled.
Clean the electrodes thoroughly
after each stun process.*
Stun process is
interrupted.
Minimum stun time was
interrupted.
Repeat the stun process.
Slow repositioning of the
stun tong in head & heart
stunning.
Yellow lamp lights
up continuously
(stun error).
Stun current was not
reached within four
seconds.
Repeat the stun process.
The yellow lamp automatically
goes out during the next stun
process. There is an acoustic
