WITH YOUR

FRIGIDAIRE UPRIGHT 20 CU FT FREEZER

GETTING

Set your freezer temperature

It’s easy! When first turning your appliance on, adjust to

Recommended

. Some

models have a power indicator light projected on the floor. To ensure safe food

storage, allow the appliance to operate with the door closed for at least 8 hours

before loading it with food.

If necessary, we recommend you adjust the temperature

gradually, in small increments, allowing the temperature to stabilize.

YOU’RE IN CONTROL

1.  Adjusting the appliance temperature control

to

OFF

turns off the compressor and prevents

the appliance from cooling but does not

disconnect the power to the light bulb and

other electrical components. To turn off

power to your appliance, you must unplug the

power cord from the wall outlet.

2. For warmer temperatures, adjust the setting

to

Cold

. For colder temperatures, adjust the

setting to

Coldest

.

3. The control can be left at the factory preset

(

Recommended

) or adjusted as desired.

4. If the temperature inside the cabinet increases, the red

High Temp*

 light will

illuminate and the alarm will sound.

5. The

Freeze Boost*

mode quickly drives the appliance to a colder temperature

and stays active for up to 24 hours before automatically deactivating or being

manually exited.

6. Pressing the

Temp*

button will allow you to scroll through the five temperature

settings from

Cold

 (top) to

Coldest

(bottom), and then loop back to

Cold
