When the fat is completely melted, the red lamp turns green and a sound signal can be heard
(fig.E).

Then follow the instruction of 3.2 as from point 4.
3.2. Second and next use
1.
Completely unroll the power cord and insert the plug in the socket.

Push the thermostat knob during 2 sec. (fig. A). The display will show « Turbo SF System
Activated » and a sound signal will be heard.

On the display the text « Melting Solid Fat » flashes

Turn the thermostat knob to the desired temperature (fig. B).
Caution: if you use frying fat: FIRST follow instructions hereafter, before you turn the
thermostat knob to the desired temperature:
Make some holes till the heating element with a wooden spoon in the fat (fig. G).
Push the thermostat knob to confirm (fig. C). The red lamp lights up (fig. D) and the fat
will start to melt. When the fat has melted, the lamp turns green and a sound signal will be
heard (fig. E)

Push the thermostat knob to confirm (fig.C). The red lamp (fig.D) will light up and stays red
during warming up.
Caution: if you do NOT push the thermostat knob within the 15 sec. the display will return to
the previous setting.

The oil/fat is at temperature. The red lamp turns green and a sound signal will be heard.

Remark: you can always change the temperature while frying:
Turn the thermostat knob to the desired temperature.
The desired temperature flashes.
Push the thermostat knob to confirm (fig.C). The red lamp lights up (fig.D). If you if you
do NOT push the thermostat knob within the 15 sec. the display will return to the previous
setting.
The oil/fat has reached the desired temperature. The red lamp turns green if you chose a
higher temperature or the green light stays green of you chose a lower temperature. A sound
signal will be heard (fig. E)

Fill the basket to max 2/3 with food to fry which has been dried off before. For a optimal
result we recommend following quantities:
Frozen fries: fill the basket to max 2/3.
Fresh fries: max. 150 gr per liter oil or per 900 gr fat.
Delicate food, like croquettes, fish,…: only fill the bottom of the basket.
Caution: to avoid dangerous splashes always remove the exceeding ice from the frozen fries.
Caution:
NEVER
hang the basket full of frozen food above the oil or the fat as long as this is
not warmed up to 130°C. This causes serious splashes.
8.
Slowly plunge the basket so that the water in the food gets the chance to evaporate.
Important: in order not to deteriorate the oil,
NEVER
add salt or spices before or during the
frying.
Never
defrost frozen food before frying.
9.
Fryer with anti dust lid:
NEVER
fry with the lid on the fryer, and
NEVER
warm up or cool
the fryer with the lid on.
Fryer with filter lid: it is allowed to fry with the lid on the fryer.
10.
When the fried food is ready, slowly pull the basket up and hang it in the suspension hook.
